My role in the materials economy is that I always buy new electronics when they come out. One time I bought this new laptop that just came out. I used it for at least one year then the upgraded model came out, so I bought that. I wanted to sell my old laptop but it got beat up over the year so I decided the recycle it to my local electronic recycle area.
A lifestyle change I can make to reduce my global impact is to take less showers and don't use my T.V a lot. I have to take less showers because I take about 10 minutes per shower and I know I can reduce that to at least 3 minutes. 7 minutes makes a huge difference and can save a lot of gallons per year. I have to watch my T.V in my room less because it is a Plasma 54' and it uses a lot of electricity than other T.V's in my house. I can make the electricity bill go down by using my T.V less.

Blog #2
My first week was better than I expected because I thought I would have a bad experience due to the fact that most of my friends went to the different high schools in the village. The best part is that I got to meet new friends and great teachers. One of my favorite classes is mathematics because I learned new methods on getting homework done sufficiently and for tests/pop quizzes. One success I had last week was getting A+'s in all of my classes, this made me feel proud of myself because I am starting off very good. One thing I struggled last week was meeting new people because I am a shy person but I got the hang of it and overcome this struggle later on. The way HTHMA compares to my last school HTM is that the projects are more flexible and more interactive with others. Overall I am looking forward on the rest of the year and having a fun time here in HTHMA.
